Iris Jianghong Shi
PhD student @ University of Washington

Welcome! I am a PhD student in Applied Mathematics at University of Washington, where I am fortunate to be co-advised by Eric Shea-Brown and Michael Buice.
Prior to UW, I received my bachelor and master degrees in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I was fortunate to be co-advised by Ping Ao and Bo Yuan.
My research interests lie broadly in the interface between computational neuroscience and machine learning. Currently I am studying visual representations for both deep neural networks and the mouse brain.
